Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-05. This is a plain-language summary of what this site collects — which is very little.

What we collect

Almost nothing. This is a static informational website. The calculator runs entirely in your browser — your inputs (home size, add-ons, month) never leave your device and are never sent to us or anyone else. We do not require accounts, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or other personal information through this site.

What our hosting provider logs

Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data (such as pages requested and approximate location derived from IP address) in server logs used for security and reliability. We do not use this to identify you.

Affiliate links

This site contains affiliate links (currently to Bark.com). If you click through and request quotes, the affiliate partner may set cookies to credit the referral. We do not receive your personal information from them — quote requests are handled entirely on their site.

Cookies

This site does not set its own cookies. If advertising is introduced in the future (e.g. Google AdSense), the ad provider may use cookies — this policy will be updated before that happens.

Children

This site is a general informational resource and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this site ever starts collecting information, this policy will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and why, before collection begins.
